PathRank was built to close the gap between what gets said and what actually gets done. Across personal planning, team meetings, and remote collaboration, the same problem kept showing up: action items get discussed, but rarely captured accurately or followed through on. Tibicle designed and developed PathRank as a mobile app that uses voice recognition and natural language parsing to convert conversation and text into structured tasks automatically, no manual note-taking, no switching between a meeting and a to-do app afterward. Whether it's one person planning their day, a team brainstorming in a room together, or colleagues collaborating across devices and locations, PathRank listens, identifies who owns what, and builds the task board in real time.

The Challenges

Turning Conversation Into Action, Automatically

As teams and individuals leaned more on quick conversations and voice notes to plan their day, a gap kept opening between what was discussed and what actually got tracked. Manual task entry couldn't keep pace with how people actually communicate, and existing to-do apps had no way to understand a live conversation, let alone know who in the room was responsible for what.

Tibicle built PathRank as a complete AI-driven task ecosystem, giving users a way to move from spoken word to organized task board without lifting a finger to type, whether working alone, brainstorming live, or coordinating a distributed team.

Instant Workflow

Planning shouldn't require opening an app and manually building out a list every time something comes up. Instant Workflow lets users simply say or type what they need to get done in plain language, and PathRank takes it from there, parsing the input, detecting any deadlines mentioned, and instantly organizing it into a dedicated space for that task.

Brainstorm Mode solves this by actively listening to the room for up to an hour, transcribing everything said, and understanding exactly who is speaking at any given moment, so nothing discussed has to be manually written down afterward.

Teams Mode connects distributed participants into a single collaborative session while keeping each person's task board personal, syncing only what's relevant to them once decisions are finalized.

How We Deliver?

Bringing PathRank to life meant designing an architecture that could handle real-time audio processing, accurate speaker identification, and natural language task parsing, all without adding friction to how users actually plan and communicate. Our team began with a deep dive into PathRank's three core use cases: individual capture, group brainstorming, and distributed team collaboration, and built outward from there.

We integrated Speechmatics for speech-to-text and voice recognition, Algolia to power fast and reliable search beyond Firebase's native limits, and RevenueCat with Superwall to manage subscription logic and payment UI for the app's 7-day free trial model. Development was iterative, with close attention paid to sync reliability across devices in Teams Mode and to the accuracy of speaker-to-task attribution in Brainstorm Mode, both critical to building an app users could trust enough to replace manual note-taking entirely.
