Project Summary

Oops Study approached Tibicle to build an e-learning platform that could bring teachers and students together across live sessions, recorded courses, and webinars in one place. Before Oops Study, running structured online courses meant juggling separate tools for video delivery, scheduling, and content protection, with no single system tying course management, live sessions, and student progress together. Tibicle designed and developed a custom e-learning platform, spanning both web and mobile, that gave the client role-based control over teacher onboarding, course delivery, and student learning, while keeping course content protected from unauthorized use.
Project Summary

The Challenges

Bringing Live Learning, Recorded Content, and Webinars Under One

Platform As online course offerings grew, the client ran into a problem that good course content alone couldn't fix. Managing teachers, students, and multiple content formats across separate tools made it harder to keep course quality consistent and content secure as the platform scaled.

No Centralized Teacher Onboarding

Without a review process, there was no way to verify teacher quality before they could publish courses on the platform.

Fragmented Content Delivery

Recorded videos, PDF notes, live sessions, and webinars had no common home, making it harder for students to access everything tied to a course in one place.

No Structured Live Session Booking

Scheduling 1-on-1 sessions and webinars manually left no room for automated reminders or slot management as demand grew.

Unprotected Course Content

Without screen recording or screenshot restrictions, paid course content was vulnerable to unauthorized capture and distribution.

No Automated Certification

Manually issuing completion certificates didn't scale as student volume increased across courses.

Disconnected Purchase and Progress Tracking

Students had no unified way to browse, purchase, and track progress across recorded and live course content.

Our Solution

Tibicle built Oops Study as a complete, custom e-learning ecosystem, giving the client role-based control over teacher onboarding, course delivery, and student learning, all from one connected platform.
Role-Based Platform Architecture

Role-Based Platform Architecture

Managing an e-learning platform shouldn't mean giving every user the same level of access. With Oops Study, the platform is built around three distinct roles, each with its own permissions and workflows. Admins review and approve teacher registrations to maintain platform quality, teachers manage their profiles and course content from a web-only dashboard, and learners register, browse, and purchase courses from either web or mobile. The result is a platform that keeps quality control and access aligned with how each user actually works.

  • Admin review and approval workflow for teacher registrations
  • Web-only teacher dashboard for profile management and course creation
  • Learner access across both web and mobile for browsing and purchasing
  • Clear separation of permissions across all three roles
Multi-Format Course Content Delivery

Multi-Format Course Content Delivery

Students learn differently, and Oops Study was built to support that. Recorded videos play through a custom in-app video player, PDF notes open in an in-app document viewer, and live sessions and webinars run on Zoom SDK with slot-based scheduling. Live 1-on-1 sessions come with automated reminder notifications 15 minutes before start, while webinars support 1-to-many broadcasts capped at one hour, with students selecting their slot before payment. Every format lives inside the same platform, so students never have to leave the app to access their course.

  • Custom in-app video player for recorded course content
  • In-app PDF viewer for course notes and reading materials
  • Zoom SDK-powered live 1-on-1 sessions with automated 15-minute reminder notifications
  • Zoom SDK-powered webinars with 1-hour cap and pre-payment slot selection
  • Automated certificate generation and download on course completion
Content Protection & DRM Restrictions

Content Protection & DRM Restrictions

Paid course content needed protection the client's previous setup couldn't provide. Oops Study addresses this with screen recording restrictions active across both the web and mobile video players, preventing unauthorized capture of live and recorded sessions. Inside the PDF reader, screenshot restrictions are disabled at the system level, protecting written course materials from being copied and redistributed outside the platform.

  • Screen recording restriction across web and mobile video players
  • Screenshot restriction disabled inside the in-app PDF reader
  • Protects both video and document-based course content from unauthorized distribution
  • Applied consistently across teacher-uploaded and platform-delivered content
Course Browsing, Purchase & Progress Tracking

Course Browsing, Purchase & Progress Tracking

Signing up for a course shouldn't mean guessing what you're paying for or losing track of where you left off. Oops Study gives learners a clear path from discovery to completion: browse courses, see pricing upfront, and purchase via web or mobile. Once enrolled, students track their progress and pick up recorded content or notes exactly where they stopped. The same account carries through to certification, keeping the entire learning journey in one place.

  • Browse available courses and view pricing before purchase
  • Purchase courses directly through web or mobile
  • Track progress across recorded videos, notes, and live sessions
  • Resume course content from where the student left off
  • Unified account ties purchase, progress, and certification together

How We Deliver

Bringing Oops Study to life meant turning the client's vision for a role-based, multi-format e-learning platform into a working product across web and mobile. Here's how we structured that journey from first requirement to final release.
